Fashioncheque

Fashioncheque is the most stylish gift card in the Netherlands. It's a fun way to receive and give fashion and it’s suitable for any gift-giving occasion: for birthdays, anniversaries or just as a little something for a good friend. The concept for the commercial was created by Draftfcb Amsterdam. Kreukvrij was responsible for creating the commercial.

The commercial “Style is a Gift” goes back to the drawing board using fashion illustrations instead of actors to play out a story on screen. We dive into the world of a fun, stylishly-dressed, young woman experiencing occasions when a fashioncheque can be given or received.
 
The animation was brought to life by using rotoscope techniques so a shoot with models was used as a base. You can see the work that went into the crafting process by watching the making-of film here.
